Product Delivery
  • Customer Requirements and Responsibilities
  • Delivery does not include crane, or electrical services

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

1 All spas REQUIRE an ISOLATED, DEDICATED circuit (no other appliances or lights on this circuit at any time).

2 Depending on Model, your product will require a 20 or 50 AMP circuit breaker

3 NO EXTENSION CORDS are to be used in conjunction with the operation of the product. Low voltage damage could result which is not covered by warranty. All electrical must be to N.E.C. (National Electrical Code) and any other pertaining electrical codes.

4 All 240 volt products are required to be connected by a licensed electrician. Our delivery crews do not connect 120 Volt or 240 Volt equipment packages. If you have any doubts, have your circuit checked by a qualified, licensed electrician.

5 If you have any doubts, call either a licensed electrician or call 1-800-225-7727 to speak to a customer service representative or go to www.calspas.com

6 All 240 volt systems require a 50 AMP, 240 volt breaker and four #6 wires

7 All 120 volt systems require a 20 AMP GROUNDED outlet, a minimum of 7 feet away from the appliance

ACCESS AND PAD REQUIREMENTS

1 All appliances require 42 to 45 inches of clearance through the gates, between house and side fences, around corners and 8-1/2 feet to 10 feet of overhead clearance depending on the size of the unit

2 Delivery crews may not deliver large unit over difficult terrain, ie: steps, tiers, stairways, hills…

3 All debris limiting or blocking access to or on set-up location must be removed prior to delivery. Delivery crews do not trim trees or bushes, remove debris or perform other general maintenance in order to set up unit

4 If we attempt to deliver and discover that a crane is necessary, or the yard is not fully prepared, there will be a charge for the second delivery. Customer pays for crane service

5 All units must be set on a level, solid flat foundation. We recommend a 3” thick concrete slab. All other foundations should be approved before use to ensure warranties

DELIVERY AND SET UP

1 The time required to set-up the product varies due to the complexity of each set-up. 1 to 1/12 hours is usually the time required

2 It is impossible for us to guarantee an exact arrival time. All deliveries and set-ups are timed approximately on delivery on delivery days by “morning” or “afternoons”
